We would like to share our deepest sympathies with Uncle Willie van Niekerk, the Van Niekerk and Engel families on the passing away today of Sister Rose van Niekerk. We, the BBSA, share in your grief, especially during this time at the very start of a new year.
Sister Rose van Niekerk is the mother of Jufrou Virginia Engel married to Rev Desmond Engel of Steenberg. She is also the grandmother of Sisters Liza Petersen (District 3 Brass Band leader) and Kim Engel.
